Information We Collect

Location Data

When you grant permission, we collect your approximate location to:

• Display your position on the map
• Show nearby baby changing facilities

We do not store, track, or share your location history on Clover servers. Location data is used only while you're actively using the App. To render nearby results and map functionality, location may be processed in transit by our map/location service integrations.

Photos

When you choose to add photos of baby changing places:

• Photos are uploaded to our database to help other users
• We do not extract or store any metadata (such as location tags, EXIF data) from your photos
• You control which photos you share—photo access is optional
• Photos are stored on our servers and displayed publicly within the App

Camera Access

The App may request camera access to allow you to take photos of baby changing places directly within the App. Camera access is only used when you actively choose to take a photo and is not used for any other purpose.

Device Information

We may automatically collect certain information about your device, including:

• Device model and operating system version
• Unique device identifiers (for crash reporting only)
• App version

This information is used solely for debugging, security, performance monitoring, and improving app reliability.

Usage Data

We may collect usage data to improve the App, such as:

• App crashes and errors

Usage Data Retention

We retain identifiable diagnostic and analytics data (such as crash logs, device identifiers, and usage events) for up to 90 days for debugging, security, and performance monitoring purposes.

After this period, the data is anonymized and aggregated. This means identifiers such as device identifiers, IP addresses, and session identifiers are removed so the data can no longer be associated with an individual user or device.

Anonymous aggregated statistics may be retained indefinitely to help us improve the functionality and performance of the App.

How We Anonymize Analytics Data

Our internal retention rule is:

• Raw logs retention: 90 days
• After 90 days: remove device identifiers
• After 90 days: remove IP addresses and session identifiers
• After 90 days: aggregate analytics and keep only statistical metrics

Data Security

We use specific technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
• Restricted access controls for stored data
• Secure server storage for photos
• Regular security audits

However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• Request deletion of your data (including uploaded photos)

Google Play Data Safety

For Android users, please note:

• Location data is never stored and is only used during active app sessions
• Photos are collected and shared publicly within the app
• Crash logs, device identifiers, and raw analytics events are retained for a maximum of 90 days
• After 90 days, identifiers are removed and analytics is retained only as anonymous aggregated statistics
• The app does not collect Advertising ID (AAID)
• The app does not include ad or marketing SDKs such as Google Ads, Firebase Analytics, Facebook SDK, AppsFlyer, OneSignal, or Sentry in the current Android configuration
• No data is used for advertising or marketing purposes
• Data collection is optional (you can use the app without sharing location or photos for viewing purposes only)
